ImiSight had the honor of welcoming the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) delegation as part of their mission to explore artificial intelligence, remote sensing, and drone technology for environmental monitoring in Cameroon.
This visit followed a successful first delivery of a long innovation journey demonstrating ImiSight’s capabilities in enhancing wildlife inspection in protected areas.

Through its innovative solutions, ImiSight has proven highly effective in species counting, habitat monitoring, and detecting illegal activities such as logging, mining, and encroachment on protected lands.

The delegation was led by the Director of Bouba Ndjidda National Park, Mr. Serge Patrick Tadjo, accompanied by Mr. Hans Jürgen Klein, Project Manager of the GIZ BSB Yamoussa program. Together, they explored in depth ImiSight’s AI-powered solutions, designed to strengthen conservation efforts, protect natural resources, and enhance surveillance in protected areas such as Bouba Ndjidda National Park.
The Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife (MINFOF) now aims to integrate geospatial data analysis and artificial intelligence into the management of its national parks. Following the success of initial tests, the next step is the implementation of a real-time monitoring and analysis system covering an entire national park.
This advancement would optimize wildlife population management, track transhumance movements more effectively, and reinforce anti-poaching efforts.

As a leading company in AI-driven geospatial data analysis, ImiSight has demonstrated the immense potential of these technologies for biodiversity conservation and the sustainable management of protected ecosystems in Cameroon.
